I am the Founder and Owner of Holistic Psychotherapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Flower Essence Practitioner, and Certified Body Code and Emotion Code Practitioner. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. I also have an Integrative Certificate in The Trauma Resource Model, Levels 1 and 2. For over 30 years, I have helped clients heal at the root of their problems so they can live free from their difficulties. My philosophy focuses on how our sense of self is formed in our early attachments. Our childhood experiences and our perception of those experiences influence how we relate to everyone and everything throughout life. I believe that learning about and healing from our childhood is some of the most valuable work that one can do. I provide clients with many tools to help navigate their struggles and to process painful emotions that get trapped in their bodies. I specialize in grief and loss, relationship struggles, abuse and trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse, and other addictions, behavioral problems, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I believe that people have a natural tendency to heal. My holistic philosophy helps to align the body, mind, and spirit to facilitate lasting change and promote a sense of joy, peace, prosperity, and good health. There is nothing I love more than assisting people, whether it is my family, friends, or clients, on their journey of healing and self-discovery. I, too, am on my own quest for spiritual enlightenment. I spend a lot of my time reading, attending workshops, and I have a consistent daily practice of going within to further connect with myself so that I can live in more peace and joy. I love being in nature and especially love being by the ocean. I love playing board games and sports; my favorites are Scrabble, Boggle, ping pong, tennis, and golf. Colony pizza, disco dancing, and meaningful conversations add to my joy!
