Amelia Loomis, MSW, CCHT, ACSW is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Social Welfare and the Hypnotherapy Training Institute (Clinical Hypnotherapist.) She has a background in clinical social work, philanthropy, grant writing, and program development. Amelia enjoys studying the science of complementary and alternative medicine (intuition and guidance, ideomotor, applied kinesiology, dowsing, sacred contracts, archetypal healing, qigong, shamanism, energy medicine and energy psychology) and integrating it with methods of addiction recovery support, relaxation, imagery, cellular memory, Gestalt techniques, regression, and spirituality. She is the founder of LodeStar TransformationsTM and LodeStar HypnotherapyTM, currently practicing this form of transpersonal hypnotherapy for addiction recovery support. She teaches how to incorporate these methods into a variety of clinical modalities and self-care approaches.
