I have an extensive career in the healthcare and life sciences industries and I am founder of Beyond PTSD ("PTSS Voorbij"). I am developer of True Result™ PTSD and Trauma Recovery Coaching and work as a specialized PTSD and Trauma Recovery (recovery) Coach. For many years I have been very interested in the development of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to PTSD and trauma and its integral and holistic recovery. I have personally experienced the severe and negative health effects caused by this. My coaching toward self-healing is rooted in an immense gratitude he has for the progressive intervention opportunities given and for the holistic healing that occurs through the trauma recovery process itself. As a scientifically trained professional with an extensive background in interpersonal biology, psycho neuroimmunology, various forms of psychology (labor, organizational, social and energy psychology), quantum physics and further specialized training and education, I have great passion for grounded, progressive, but above all interventions that enable integral and holistic recovery. I work from a holistic perspective - looking at what happened to you from this trauma recovery framework rather than looking for what is wrong with you. This leads not only to accelerated and positive results, but most importantly to results that have measurable positive effects on quality of life after PTSD and Trauma. I hold a BSc in Anesthesiology from Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and I am certified in general management by INSEAD-CEDEP in Fontainebleau, France and by the Institute of Social and Business Sciences (ISBW) in Hilversum. I am a Master Certified Coach, Effortless Coach®, Master Burnout Coach, Master PTSD and Trauma Recovery Coach, Tweekracht® Coach, Logosynthesis® Practitioner and Mind Eye Power® Practitioner. I have also completed many additional training and education courses over the past twenty years. I am accredited by the Dutch Association of Professional Coaches (NOBCO), the International Logosynthesis® Association (LIA) and the International Coaching Council (ICC). I also work with the Police Veteran Foundation and I am associated with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) and the International Logosynthesis® Association (LIA). I see personal growth as an ongoing process. My life motto is as John Quincy Adams once so beautifully and catchily put it, "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." Pushing boundaries and deepening my work, sharing knowledge with others, including by supporting new developments, new approaches and giving lectures and webinars, is an important part of my professional and humanitarian contribution.
