I am a practicing art therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Masters in Art therapy from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM in 2002. While in Santa Fe, areas of expertise were working with the developmentally disabled and with individuals that had experienced trauma. I was trained to use CBT and art therapy as an effective tool to assist in trauma recovery. I moved to Alabama in late 2008 and have been in private practice since 2009, working with private clients and the Department of Human Resources with individuals, couples and families facing loss of custody. I love to integrate energy medicine, CBT, EFT, art, hypnosis, guided imagery, nutrition, body mind connection, and other healing techniques to empower clients in a therapeutic way.
