Jackie MacKay is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist at New Leaf Center in Winter Park, Fla. She provides outpatient individual and group counseling for mental health and addiction issues. Areas of specialty include drug/alcohol abuse and dependency; sexual addiction; relapse prevention; trauma and abuse recovery; anxiety; grief work; family of origin issues; codependency; healthy boundaries; and inner child healing. She combines experiential therapies with a variety of cognitive-behavioral counseling techniques to relieve suffering and facilitate healing. She is certified in Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) and Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy (TRET), and she also practices Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). As an accomplished presenter, she regularly speaks and leads workshops on a variety of mental health topics. She has been with New Leaf Center since 2007 and has been a co-owner of the practice since 2015.
